Payperclick
guide, instructions and helpful information on pay-per-click advertising
and how-to make money online from your computer with proven PPC methods.
Pay Per Click Advertising,
Affiliate Marketing and Cashing In On The 2007 Christmas Spend
of Over 33 Billion Dollars.
It's
going on right now.
The biggest Christmas spend online ever.
It stands to reason that each year more and more people are
purchasing goods and services online. More of the people online
begin using their credit cards to shop online and more of these
shoppers realize the great convenience that shopping online
offers. So they start to spend more on a wider variety of products
and / or services as they feel more confident about purchasing
online.
Google "Holiday HInts" reports,
"The holidays are here, and consumers are getting a
head start on gift gathering. With U.S. ecommerce holiday spending
hitting $33 billion in 2006, up 21 percent from 2005, it's clear
that consumers are using the web as a valuable holiday shopping
resource1.
In fact, 67 percent of shoppers say they're most likely to look
online for consumer electronics2.
And during last year's holiday season, consumer electronics
sales grew by 39 percent over the previous year's holiday season3.
Take advantage of these trends and make sure your registers
are ringing like holiday bells with the following tips.
Get an early start
For most online consumers, holiday shopping isn't just a December
affair - 38 percent of users start shopping in October, 22 percent
join the search in early November, and another 19 percent start
around Thanksgiving4. While consumers are making their shopping
lists, get them thinking about your items as the perfect gifts.
To do this, create compelling ad text targeted toward the early
birds to let them know your holiday inventory is in stock and
ready for purchase. "
You can tap into this huge spending
surge right now by utilizing pay per click advertising (PPC).
You may now wonder how you can make any money with click ad
words and affiliate programs.
How? well it's simple.
Affiliates send their prospects directly to their own web site
page on which they to the product or service they were promoting
in their PPC ad. The web page should emphasised the features
and benefits of the product, show great traffic-stopping pictures,
made comparisons to other similar products to emphasise the
benefits of the product they were promoting. In essence they
wrote a favourable, and what appeared to be an unbiased review.
You can do exactly the same. You don't need a full site just
a single landing page will do. You could even have a page for
each affiliate product you're promoting on the backend of one
of your existing sites to test and if the product converts well
you can always start a dedicated website for that product or
product line.
The single biggest thing to keep in mind when you do this is
that you must not go for the hard sell. Try to be unbiased and
if there are bad points to the product you're promoting via
pay per click ads be sure to mention them.
In fact it is acceptible do go as far as to say list something
you're not happy with.
I know that sounds odd but it will give your review much more
credibility than if you gushed overly enthusiastically about
how great this product is.
Mention a bad point or a minor irritation but then be sure to
follow with a major good point or qualify why exactly you didn't
like this one feature.
What should you promote?
You need something either with a good conversion or a high commission.
Preferably both. You also need to find low cost keywords and
lots of them if possible. That goes for anything you promote
really.
Consider what people will be buying this Xmas and holiday season.
What has the largest price tag but is still in high demand?
Ideally stay away from the obvious e.g. ipods, Xbox's etc there
will be too much competition, the commissions are low, and usually
have a high associated pat per click cost.
In conclusion the method of promotion mentioned above has served
many people well and in fact resulted in an annual five, six
and seven figure income for many affiliate marketers.
Get your Christmas pay per click advertising campaigns running
now. Each day you hold of on starting your Christmas holiday
season PPC campaign you loose money.
